    How to do it

    1. Drop your images

The same setting applies to the whole batch.

    2. Choose the rotation

90° left or right, 180°, horizontal or vertical flip. Settings add up.

    3. Download

One by one or as a ZIP archive.

    Rotation and photo orientation

Many cameras and phones save the photo one way and add an orientation tag that some software ignores. ImageOptimizer reads this tag before processing the image: the result displays the right way up everywhere.

    Flip or rotate?

A horizontal flip swaps left and right, like a mirror (useful for a selfie with reversed text). A vertical flip turns top and bottom upside down. Rotation turns the image in the chosen direction without mirroring it.

    Frequently asked questions

    Does rotation reduce quality?

Rotating a JPG or WebP means saving it again with loss. With a quality of 90% or more, the difference is invisible.

    Can I rotate by 45°?

No, only by quarter turns (90°, 180°, 270°), to keep a rectangular image without empty corners.

Can I rotate several images at once?

Yes, up to 30. They all receive the same transformation.

Do my images leave my device?

No, unless the format cannot be read by the browser, with a warning.
