PNG or JPG for your iPhone photos?
Choose PNG when you will keep editing the photo: it adds no compression, so nothing more is lost each time you save. Choose HEIC to JPG when you simply want to share or upload the photo: the file will be several times lighter.

How the conversion works
Most browsers cannot read HEIC, so your photos are sent to our server, converted, and deleted automatically within 30 minutes at most. The interface tells you before uploading. Location and camera metadata are not copied into the PNG.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the PNG so much larger than the HEIC?
HEIC is a very efficient compressed format; PNG stores every pixel without loss. A photo as PNG can easily weigh 5 to 10 times more. Use HEIC to JPG if size matters.
Is the photo quality preserved?
Yes. The PNG contains exactly the pixels decoded from your HEIC photo, with no extra compression.
Does the PNG keep my location?
No. GPS and camera metadata are not copied into the converted file.
How many photos can I convert at once?
Up to 30, 25 MB maximum each, with a combined ZIP download.
