    How to do it

    1. Drop your images

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and more, up to 30 at once.

    2. Check the target size

20 KB is set; change it if your form asks for another limit.

    3. Download

Each image is under the limit, at the highest quality that fits.

    How it works

The tool searches for the highest JPG quality that keeps the file under 20 KB. If even a low quality is not enough, it reduces the dimensions step by step until the image fits. You always get the sharpest image possible within the limit, and the final quality and size are shown for each file.

An image that is already under the limit is returned unchanged.

Where a 20 KB limit is common

    • Government and exam application forms (photo, signature).
    • Small profile pictures and avatars.
    • Very light email signatures.

At 20 KB, photos are usually reduced to a few hundred pixels: that is expected and enough for an ID photo or signature.

    Frequently asked questions

Will the image be exactly 20 KB?

It will be just under the limit, usually within a few percent of it, never above.

    Why were the dimensions reduced?

For a large photo, quality alone cannot always reach the limit without visible damage. Reducing the dimensions keeps the image sharp at a smaller size.

    What about transparent PNG files?

JPG has no transparency: transparent areas become white. Choose WebP to keep transparency.

    Are my images uploaded?

No, unless the format cannot be read by your browser (such as HEIC). Everything else happens on your device.
